WATER TOWER
CHICAGO
24 × 48 in. · Acrylic on Board · Dennis Line
A Chicago survivor, reimagined in color, light, and glass.
THE PAINTING
The Tower That Stayed
The Chicago Water Tower has always felt a little improbable - part castle, part landmark, standing in the middle of a city that grew dramatically around it.
This painting strips away the surrounding architecture and gives the tower the stage to itself. Warm stone rises against Lake Michigan blues and a glowing Chicago sky, rebuilt through bold outlines, simplified geometry, and the stained-glass character of the series.
