Where Stone Meets Sound

Red Rocks began as an exploration of Colorado's most celebrated performance venue, where towering sandstone formations have framed generations of live music. Rather than documenting a specific concert, the painting focuses on the timeless relationship between the landscape, the stage, and the audience gathered beneath an open sky.

Built in the Glassworks style, the composition combines bold black linework, layered acrylic color, controlled airbrush transitions, and hand-painted highlights to create the illusion of illuminated architectural glass while celebrating one of Colorado's defining landmarks.
